Building Function[]

Infantry Research & Upgrades[]

The Academy is where Research is done to Unlock and Upgrade all Infantry Units.

  • Infantry Units require a specific Minimum Academy Level before they may be researched and unlocked.
  • Once unlocked the Units each require specific Levels of the Academy in order to in order to upgrade them to various level.
    • Example: The Hercules requires a Level 5 Academy to be unlocked. Once unlock it may be upgraded to a maximum Level 2 with the same Academy Level. But in order to upgrade the Hercules to a Level 3 or Level 4 it requires a Level 6 Academy and so forth.

Additional Facts[]

  • The Academy draws no power from the Power Plants when not in use or undergoing an upgrade.
  • The Academy draws 50% its normal rate of power from the Power Plants when being uprgraded..
  • The Level 1 Rifleman & Heavy Gunner are available for Training in the Barracks without the Academy. However in order to upgrade them past Level 1 an Academy must be constructed.
  • With a Level 8 Academy all Standard Infantry Units may be Upgraded to Level 10 except Hercules which requires a Leve 9 Academy.
  • A Level 10 Academy is required to upgrade all Infantry Units to Level 12.
  • The Academy (5x6), Defense Lab (6x5) and War Factory (5x6) all have the same overal Footprint size. All three cover an area of 30 sq, of the players Base. The Workshop (5.5x5.5) is slightly bigger, covering an area of 30.25.
